Daily Prompt: One At A Time

Today, write a post about the topic of your choice — using only one-syllable words.

(Thanks for the great prompt idea, polysyllabic profundity!)

I’m Lay Dee Lee
I am who I said I was
Our love was a firm glue
Oh what a great joy to have
To hear the crunch of leaves
And walk the seas of old men
We may be on the same boat
There’s an ant in that coat
And the tea, not brewed
As the sun rose and set
And the moon is full
I have to run off
Don’t be sad
Take care
