Ahmreen: Mondays Finish the Story

Finish the story begins with: “She was unaware that she was being watched.”

Ahmreen spent six weeks training in Syria, in the terrorist boot camp. She was one of the young people radicalised. She believed that she was there to do God’s work; that is to fight in jihad. She followed the hard line ideology of IS. She also knew that she has to play a supportive role within IS. It meant that she has to provide first aid to the injured, cook as well as nurse them to become one of the good wives of jihad. She returned to Manchester, not knowing that she was being observed. She tried to go back to her daily routine, trying to fit in the community, acting normally. So when she tried to buy bags and bags of fertilizer, alarm bells started ringing with the security force.
