Chris and Clara – Mondays Finish the Story

Finish the story begins with: “The old typewriter had a mind of its own.”

Chris paid 50 pesos for the old typewriter. He put some papers in it.

“Help, is anyone out there?” was typed.

Chris typed back, “Who are you?”

“I’m Clara and the evil Mangkukulam cursed me to be here until I can type the best story ever told.”

“How would you do that?”

“With your help, of course! We can write the story together.”

“You mean, like collaborative writing?”

“Yes, I’ve got some ideas, and I’m sure you’ve got some and together we can produce this perfect story. What do you think?”

“I’m in,” answered Chris. The story went to different directions, had a lot of editing until it found the right track and both Chris and Clara were happy with their narrative. When it was published, Clara turned back to being human and Chris replaced her inside the typewriter. That was the curse and so Chris must patiently wait.
