Reginald was pacing up and down. He kept on looking at the clock. It was 10 minutes after the last time he looked.
“She should have called. I know she has to start going out sometime. That she was feeling uneasy and lonely and she has to get used to her new situation. But not knowing where she is and who she went out with was not easy for me. She should have considered my feelings, too.”
The door opened. “…so what time did you say it was, Mum?”
“I’m sorry, son, but my mobile needed charging,” said Mum apologetically.
