What did you or did not like about the first apartment you ever rented?
The first flat we’ve rented after we got married was part of the university’s properties for married couples. It was a nice flat, sort of studio, with separate kitchen and bathroom. We just put a bamboo partition in one corner that served as our bedroom. It was quite cosy and we loved it. Since it was part of the university’s hall of residences and there was a pub nearby, it was a bit “noisy” on Friday evenings, but we didn’t mind, really.
What kind of art is your favourite? Why?
I love some painting, especially the Impressionism (Monet, Manet, Renoir, etc) and I love photography. As for me doing some art, well I used to knit and cross-stitch, I’ve also done some pottery (they’re mostly in the garden, Inca Man, Thai Buddha, some dinosaurs for HRH the son when he was little). Now, mostly writing fiction or poetry and taking photos.
How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order?
I have 2 brothers and one sister. I’m the second child, my elder brother is just 11 months older than me, and we were born in the same year! My sister is 3 1/2 younger than me and the last brother is 10 years younger than me.
Complete this sentence: I’m dreaming of a white …. (and no you can’t use Christmas as your answer)
…sampaguita or jasmine – I love its scent and it’s our national flower. We usually make garlands out of the petals and hang them like a necklace or we offer them to the saints in the altar.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
We were in Britain last week and we had a good time. It was nice to see HRH the son and his K, plus Him Indoors’ parents and my brother plus his kids. We also celebrated Him Indoors’ birthday there.
I’m looking forward for some quality time with Him Indoors this coming up week. The weather is getting warmer here in Bavaria so we’ll be swimming, cycling, walking and having some grill in our garden.
Have a great week everyone!
