In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
I’d rather be a passenger. I’m not really keen on driving, even though I’ve got a car. I just drive to the station to take the train, go to the gym and meet friends. No long distance driving for me.
If you were handed free opera tickets, would you go or sell them? Why?
I’d definitely go, especially Puccini’s operas – I love them! Give me La Boheme and Tosca anytime!
Describe your own outlook on life in seven words or less. (NOTE: does not necessarily have to be a sentence.)
Smile! Go for it! Life is short!
Which would you prefer: a wild, turbulent life filled with joy, sorrow, passion, and adventure–intoxicating successes and stunning setbacks; or a contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood?
Oh, a tough one! I always think of my life as full of adventure, but at the same time, I’m happy and contended with my life. If I really have to choose, it’s got to be the second one, for the secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family, without such wide swings of fortune and mood.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
We’ve been back from the UK for a week now, and we’re happy with the weather here so far. We’ve done a lot of cycling, gardening, walking and cooking.
I’m going to Amsterdam with my friend N for a long weekend and I’m looking forward to that. We’re going to Anne Frank’s house, Rembrandt and Van Gogh’s museum, plus all the canals and the lovely flowers and surroundings of Amsterdam.
