SERENDIPITY PHOTO PROMPT 2015 – 31: WRAPPING UP

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all OK. Here in Bavaria, it started white and cold this morning, now still cold but wet. I think I prefer the snow part than the rain. Anyway, I’ve just bought our Christmas wreath for this year. This Sunday is the first Advent so we can light the first candle. When HRH the son was small, we usually make our own. But since this year, HRH the son said he’s not coming here for Christmas, we thought we’ll make it very simple. We’ll probably put some Christmas lights outside, but we won’t have our Christmas tree. Besides, we won’t be here for Christmas. Him Indoors and I are planning to spend the holidays in the mountains, the Bavarian Alps.

It’s my birthday soon. We’re flying to the UK the day after my birthday – sort of celebrating my birthday, also celebrating Him Indoors’ dad’s 80th birthday and then the day after that, going to meet the future in-laws. Yes, we’re taking the train to HRH the son and his beautiful K’s place to meet K’s parents who are also flying from their city. We’ll probably go for a Chinese meal and talk about the coming wedding. Looking forward to celebrating this union, in two places, the UK and India!
