The opening sentence for the January 8th Flash Fiction for the Purposeful Practitioner:
“It seemed a good idea at the time?”
“Just a little bit more to the left…, “ I tried to encouraged him.
“Oh, this is great…thanks for the present, dear,” he’s really enjoying this moment. He saw our old pine tree, thought it would be nice to try its strength.
“Here goes, timber!!!!” he shouted as the tree fell.
“Oh my God, there goes our lights,” as the tree fell on some cables.
“My God, what have I done?”
“It seemed a good idea at the time?” I’m regretting buying him a chain saw.

Hahaha! Maybe giving him a chain saw as a present wasn’t such a good idea after all. LOL! Great story Lady Lee!

LOL’s in this story! She probably should have arranged for him to have lessons in using the saw safely. But, perhaps if he read the manual it would have helped! 😊
