This week’s photo prompt is provided by Uday, with the blog, Udayology. Thank you Uday!
I remembered Mang Juan. He would make us relax before he took some photos. When we were small, he would bring some toys and let us play with them and took photos when we were playing with them. Sometimes, we had to smile when he said to smile and then he would give us sweets after each session. We would go to his studio on our birthdays or graduation or our parents’ anniversary. He was also the official photographer is our school so he took our class photos, sometimes with our siblings and sometimes with our pets, too. When I was last home, they told me that his shop is now close. Mang Juan sadly passed away and his children didn’t want to take over the studio. They are doing other things. So with great sadness but affection, remembering Mang Juan through his photos.
Lovely post and reminisce 🙂

I love how unique the photo centre’s door is. It’s a testament to Mang Juan’s quirky eye for the arts. Great post, btw. 🙂

A lovely story with beautiful time stamped photos! I have a feeling this story is not fiction. (Which is fine). Lovely!
