These are all very interesting photos, Lady. I think the coolest one is the one with the car driving into the train…at least, that is what it looks like is happening to me. 🙂

I’ve never seen a train where your car is the cargo…does it work like a ferry? Do you know? Cool gallery.

the whole trip takes half an hour, from Calais to Dover. We ride with our car and don’t get off it, you could if you want to, but just stay on the side of the car. It’s very systematic, lorries go first, then cars, the men make sure we leave enough space in between cars. We have to put the engine off and will let us know when we could restart again. I’d say it’s better than a ferry, as it’s shorter (30 minutes compared to 3 1/2 hours by ferry), no sea-sickness and will give us time to stand up and eat our food beside our car. cheers, Cee 🙂
