At Christmas time, we usually go to Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at Philharmonie, Munich. Depending on the tickets that we can get, we either go to the Matinee show that starts at 5pm on a New Year’s Day or the one on Boxing Day. Somehow, it starts our year right.
Joyful, joyful
We adore Thee
God of glory
Lord of love
Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee
Hail Thee to the sun above
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness
Drive the dark of doubt away
Giver of immortal gladness
Fill us with the light of day
With light
With light
Mortals join the mighty chorus
Which the morning stars began
Father love is reigning o’er us
Brother love binds man to man
Ever singing march we onward
Victors in the midst of strife
Joyful music lifts us Son ward
In the triumph song of life
For: Song Lyric Sunday Theme for 9/18/16
I love that you chose this. This was the first date I ever went on with my husband, and it has only played here twice since then. I’m truly jealous that you get to see it every year.

I also love that you chose this! I love listening to classical concerts live. My sister’s family and my family went to see Carmine Burana live last year. It was beautiful!!
Thanks so much for sharing this!
