Love is being on cloud nine
Butterflies and bees in sunshine
You were gone and my world fell apart
My heart was shattered on your depart
From cotton clouds, days are cloudy
From waiting, I become angry
I deserve better
Youโre not worth it

Oh, Lady Lee, what happened? You started off on cloud nine – you definitely deserve better! We need you back up in the clouds.

I like the rhyming pattern in this piece. Love is like being on cloud 9 – until you tumble back to earth. I think we all would like to be on those clouds forever.

Love is as varied as the banks of clouds we see. I hope you have let time sweep away the storm.

A powerful Quadrille; my favorite line is this one: ” From cotton clouds, days are cloudy”. Well done.

My favorite line of this poem is: “Butterflies and bees in sunshine”….both beautiful, in this case. Both work to make things grow (by being pollinators) but also opposites. A butterfly doesn’t cause pain. A bee stings, just like a good love gone bad. You did a fine job with this, Lady. Have a blessed week!
