I wish I was brave enough to love you
I didn’t plunge in, now I will not know
You’ve hanged around and now my life is blue
You’ve asked and I wasn’t bold enough though
Somehow I didn’t really think it through
Never knowing what it brings tomorrow
And so life goes on and I wonder why
I watch the passers-by and I say bye*
