Sue’s round-up 🙂

Caught between the poles
Necessity and desire
A war of the heart
Perception and beauty veiled
Lost to warring emotions

Peaceful acceptance
Opens possibility
Discarding blinkers
Peripheral vision gains
Golden horizons open

The photo for this week’s prompt was taken a couple of years ago in Buckinghamshire, when Stuart and I were off adventuring, exploring the ancient churches, chalk carvings and hillforts in the area. We had been lucky that day, finally and quite fortuitously gaining access to the church of St Michael and All Angels , passing through a truly amazing doorway. Those adventures brought the county to life for me in a way that a decade or two living there had been unable to do. I saw the landscape through new eyes and finally began to appreciate the beauty of the south instead of wasting both time and opportunity merely pining for the north.
Thank you…
