Sentimental is when I look at photos
Of the past where everyone is meaningful
With tenderness and love, our story in prose

It’s when I keep the son’s first shoes and I mull
All his toys in boxes and his room like shrine
When he comes back to visit, he’ll be able

With Him Indoors, we remember our first dine
Thirty years ago but seem like yesterday
The food, the music and everything was fine

He was romantic, he gave me a bouquet
Life is wonderful and we’re here to stay
