potofgold.gif~c200

The Eco/The Echo – Word count (3 – 5 – 4 – 6 – 6 – 3) A four stanza poem

Muse is here
Giving us a positive sign
Of love and faith
A potion needed for all troubles
Testing mankind if we can handle
Our own destiny

Test of time
Sign of friendship and courage
Muse is always there
Giving support to those who asked
Helping us to choose our priorities
Potion of hope

Is it a remedy?
For all the heartache and tribulation?
When there’s nothing else?
When we thought it’s the end?
And no one notice our sorrow?
Let’s not despair

Don’t lose hope
It’s always there at the side
Let’s seek and find
Gold at the end of rainbow
Light at the end of tunnel
Go grub it

Two more steps
You heard my footsteps
A yearning hope
I’m sure we can cope
On a crispy day
A day not so grey
A shining sun
I think we’ve won
“Free at last!”
Trial we’ve surpassed
A phrase uttered
We can go forward
The start of a chapter
We are its author
The second volume
As our love blossom
A rage for change
May be strange
Still not late
Isn’t life great?

As the Wind Howls

door-template-instructions
(5) Words: | WIND | SPEAK | FREE | START | FIGHT |

As the wind howls on this grey day
Stray dogs wandering the empty streets
Sweets given free but still no takers
Acres of spaces starting to be vacant
Client, vacationers don’t come here anymore
Shore is not enough, fighting for survival
Dull and aged, they speak with no loyalty
Tea by the sea is still brilliant, whereas
As the wind howls on this grey day
