B&P’s Shadorma & Beyond – Autumn Rain by DH Lawrence – October 1, 2016

autumn cry
dark clouds on the sky
blood and tears
of sorrow
men fighting for our freedom
remembering them

falling rain
echoes of autumn
fields of men
sheaves of pain
in their bravery and nerve
falling one by one

autumn leaves swirling
ripening apples on the ground
round, red, green and yellow apples
brambles, cherries and strawberries
freeze them for crumbles and pies
try making wine from the grapes
escape to the countryside
hide and seek with chums
autumn leaves swirling

Withering ~ Pic and a Word Challenge #54

ppp-224x300

Juicy apples grow
The sun is brightly shining
Fun autumn weather

Withering flowers
Wind has caused yellow leaves fall
Nature is weary

Fountain shimmering
As we walk by the moonlight
Wind brushes the leaves

Sky flushes with gold
Feeling the chills in our bones
Didn’t want this to end

Autumn’s golden voice
Sing with song of fruits and flowers
Hills fled from our sight

Trees of autumn gold and rust coloured leaves
Trees of autumn gold and rust coloured leaves
Cold breeze in the air that’s so refreshing
Cold breeze in the air that’s so refreshing
Clouds overlap each other, sky’s so grey
The apple of the seasons, autumn comes

Juicy apples grow, fountain shimmering
Juicy apples grow, fountain shimmering
Withering flowers, sky flushes with gold
Withering flowers, sky flushes with gold
Autumn’s voice sing with songs of birds and fruits
Wind brushes the leaves as we walk, they crunch

Stars and moon twirling, like dancers swaying
Stars and moon twirling, like dancers swaying
Under the moonlight holding hands with you
Under the moonlight holding hands with you
Singing our hearts and professing our love
We kissed and nature is our sole witness

Enchanting dawn of autumn days, so calm
Night comes sooner and lingers into morn
Golden themes, golden dreams, stage curtain falls
Sun’s rays shine through the last remaining leaves
Crunching autumn leaves whirling in the wind
Autumn comes as the sweet song of the year

Turning Leaves

photo-20160904121409530
This week’s photo prompt is provided by Phylor. Thank you Phylor for our photo prompt!

The autumn leaves all red, yellow, brown, orange
And Mother Nature was telling me something
We ran, giggled and into the stream we plunged

People back from holidays busy babbling
Lots of stories to tell and pictures to share
When we meet friends in cafes people watching

Ready for harvest, apples, pumpkins and pears
Children all excited to start the new term
Let them enjoy the term, we say in prayers

Let them learn all the lessons in the long-term
When autumn leaves seem to drown down the stream
Light breaks over the horizon, that’s confirmed

A magnificent season, top of the cream
Autumn at its best and life is such a dream*

Meeting The Bar – The Reason For Rhyme

Juicy apples grow
Amply hanging on our tree
The sun is brightly shining
Uh! a great day ahead
Fun autumn weather
Run, cycle, swim

Withering flowers, garden-gate amblers
Nature is weary, I have to agree
Fountain shimmering, clouds billowing
Wind brushes the leaves, as grandma weaves

Sky flushes with gold
Am I really this cold?
Feeling the chills in my bones
Like eating ice-cream cones
Didn’t want this to end
I’m with you, my friend

Sing with song of fruits and flowers
Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving this
Holding our hands on our knees
On pebble strands by the shore
Stars and moon twirling
Like dancers pirouetting
Such a night of joy
As we watch the buoy

Carpe Diem Tokubetsudesu #78 Soliloquy no Renga “sutumn night” by Santoka Taneda

Aki noyo ya inu kara morattari neko ni ataetari

Autumn night–
I received it from the dog
And gave it to the cat.

© Santoka Taneda

The dog licked his bone
The cat purred all night

Early spring
Tortoises in the garden
Eating dandelions

Birds building their nests
The birdhouse is popular

The height of spring
All the blossoms of the apple
Such a delight to see

Rain and sun alternating
Plants are swaying to say thanks
