What is your favourite part of the town/city you live in? And what Country do you live? I live in Munich, Germany and I love it – the city, shops, people, mountains, parks, museums, theatres, cinemas, restaurants, etc. We can cycle in the summer and ski in the winter.
Would you rather wear clown shoes every day or a clown wig every day? I’m really not keen of wearing either one, but if I have to choose, probably clown shoes.
Which way does the toilet paper roll go? Over or under? Over.
What do you do to make a living or during the day? If you are retired what mostly occupies your day? Or if you are a student what are you studying? I’m a freelance English teacher/trainer so I can pick and choose when and where I teach, mostly in companies and language schools.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I was in the UK last week to visit my mother and brother and my brother’s kids. We had a great time bonding. My mother goes back to the Philippines in two weeks’ time.
Him Indoors and I fly to India tomorrow for HRH the son and his beautiful K’s wedding, Indian version. Looking forward to it!
If the rain stops, then we can cycle to the beer garden. We’ll have a picnic, complete with our Bavarian tablecloth which we take on our bike rides. I can have the grilled fish and then an ice-cream later, don’t forget the wheat beer, too.
If the son skypes, then we can talk about the holiday, well their wedding in India really. The son and his beautiful bride got married in May in the UK and next month is their Indian wedding. Looking forward to it.
If the clothes get dry, then I can iron or fold them. Or better still, I can start packing. I’m off to the UK next week to see my mother before she goes back to the Philippines. My friend is coming with me, so we’ll be touring her, too. My friend only stays until a week on Tuesday and I stay until a week on Sunday. When she leaves, my mother and I can travel to Chester for a couple of days, for a real mum-daughter bonding.
That’s it from me today. Have a gorgeous weekend, wherever you are then.
For: Stream of Consciousness Saturday
in the summer time we usually cycle
to the beer garden and sit by the lake
having some ice-cream, chatting, never a lull
watch the world pass by if that’s what it takes
garden full of flowers, mostly brambles
take it easy, we all deserve a break
birds build nests, bees buzzing, hedgehogs do the round
children laughing, people passing all around
fun swimming in the lake, time to be with friends
having picnics, singing, dancing and lots more
the joy of summer, don’t want it to end
walk up the mountain, stroll in the moor
visit family and all the love we send
discover places and see what’s in store
sweet honeysuckle, lavender and roses
all these activities give us a real buzz

I am currently…
READING Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. It mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. I have just ordered Shame by Jasvinder Sanghere – I’m planning to read that next.
RELAXING because it’s Ascension Day, a holiday here in Germany. It’s also Father’s Day.
ENJOYING THE DAY the sun is out, blossoms everywhere, birds singing and my washing’s out to dry. We might cycle to the park later on. The weather forecast for the next 3 days is good.
DRINKING water, tea and coffee all morning, just had a scrumptious brunch with Him Indoors.
BLOGGING, commenting, reading other’s posts and checking which challenge I can do.
LISTENING TO some classical music and opera while I’m blogging. Also listening to Him Indoors while he plays the piano, “I’ll be seeing you.”
LOOKING FORWARD to this long weekend as tomorrow’s a bridging day and we’ve decided to go swimming in the morning and probably go to town for lunch. Also looking forward to flying to Britain in two weeks’ time for HRH the son’s wedding to his beautiful K.

Hello everyone! May is HRH the son’s birthday, he’s 24! Cheers! We’re also looking forward to his wedding to his beautiful K this month. We’re all excited!
We are happy, Him Indoor and I
We can feel the son is so happy
We are happy he found his Sweetie
She’s very lovely, we all agree
They can plan their future, all coolly
We’re happy to share with you all
Something positive and exciting
The world is wonderful and brightly
I love the spring flowers around at this time.
See the flowers bloom
Get rid of the gloom
Our days are getting longer
Warblers are singing
And we’re out biking
And the sky, is it clearer?
Tortoises are out
They’re walking about
Crocuses and daffodils
Tulips and snowdrops
Garden as backdrops
Just to be out give us thrills
These ponies are adorable.
To sleep, perchance to dream
Horses gallop across moonbeam
To dream, ah, that is so divine
Sailing across the river Rhine
Where all her thoughts meshed
And waking up feeling refreshed
We started cycling around, and the white blossoms are lovely.
stars of spring
flower buds begin to peek
hundreds of white blooms
all the signs of spring are here
rejoice and let’s welcome it
hanging around by the lake.
fountains, ducks and coots
having ice-cream by the lake
our Sunday’s pleasure
walking around our town.
Life’s never smooth sailing
It will surely pass
After winter, there’s spring
It’s always green, the grass
Hope you enjoyed the little tour in our part of the world.
