Share Your World – 2016 Week 11

How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order?
I have two brothers and one sister. I’m the second child.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
I love being a passenger. I only drive short distances.

When you lose electricity in a storm, do you light the candles or turn on the flashlight? How many of each do you own?
I love lighting candles, even when we still have electricity, especially when we’re having dinner. We’ve got a flashlight and lots of candles.

List at least five of your favourite types of animals? (any animal to domestic to wild to marine life)
I love fish. tortoise, tiger, lion, birds, butterflies and bees.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Our pet tortoises woke up for spring after hibernating since December. So welcome to our world, Gin, Rex and Niki! We also started our once-a-week morning swim with Jacuzzi – cool!
Hope the weather gets warmer in the week coming up so we can start cycling again. Have a lovely week everyone!

20 Days of Chill: Your favourite place (Day 2)

2016_Day-2

Of all the places in the world, my favourite is my home. Where is home? Home is where Him Indoors, I and HRH the son live. It’s full of love, affection and fun. Ideally it is here in Bavaria, but it could also be anywhere. OK, HRH the son has left us but he still comes back from time to time, and he comes back with his beautiful K.

Just Jot It January 4th – Dachshund

odd

In the Philippines, we’ve always have a dog, mostly mongrels and they stayed outside. They were good in barking and guarding the house. I remembered Lassie and Poochie, I used to walk with them in the fields. Here in Germany, we have three tortoises – Gin, Rex and Nik – and they were ideal pets, staying in the garden most of the time and hibernating in the winter. We also have fish in the aquarium. When HRH the son was small and still living with us, he loved the tortoises and the fish. One time, Gin was able to escape the fence and was missing for a week. We were all sad, so we decided to buy another tortoise. Gin was found eventually, he wandered off the neighbour’s garden, so we ended up with three tortoises.

Anyway, just to say, we don’t have any Dachshund, so I can’t write about that. Have a nice day everyone!
