Details – Photo Challenge
This is a model boat HMS Bounty that Him Indoors made. It took him a couple of years to build it, but his patience and creativity paid off. He worked on it meticulously, thought about ways to bend the wood, sewed the sails and all the other details. I admired him for it. It kept him busy, especially when the weather wasn’t good so he could work in the cellar. Well done, Him Indoors!
Two years ago, we gave him this kit for HMS Victory and he loved it. He started working on it. It’s a bigger project than the HMS Bounty but I’m sure he loves the challenge. He’s halfway there. Good luck, Him Indoors!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Words: rainbow, lemon, bloom, dare, fly, why
somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly
and the blooms in our apple trees are there
unexplained things, would I dare to ask why?
lemon trees are so pretty everywhere
I’m Sagittarian, he’s a Gemini
With his shirt and tie, he’s a debonair
I dream, he dreams, forever we are one
And for us the most vital thing is fun

the rainbow of love
a wonderful sensation
love is all around
we just have to look for it
we can spread it like the wind
exquisite colours
rainbow in a butterfly
spins with the wind
fluttering, flickering, too
showing its lovely colours
polychromatic
pureness of the heart and soul
wholesomeness and awe
love is in kind deeds, warm heart
it is also in sharing
rain gives us blessing
multi-coloured rainbow’s out
promising some hope
gold at the end of rainbow
don’t lose hope, we’re nearly there

I Can Sing a Rainbow
I can sing a rainbow
Woke up, sun’s bright yellow
Happy to start the day
Swam in a blue pool
Splashing in the Jacuzzi
Ah! heavenly white foam
Went to the market
And bought all my greens
Not to forget my red meat
Silver fish, orange shrimps
Blue stilton cheese and crackers
Met my friend for lunch
I wore blue jeans and black shirt
Had green tea and wanton soup
Chocolate and strawberry ice-cream
We chatted about our colourful lives
Went back on my bike, lost my purple cap
Oh well, I can still sing a rainbow
