Hard to Say I’m Sorry by Westlife

Everybody needs a little time away
I heard her say
From each other
Even lovers need a holiday
Far away from each other
Hold me now
It’s hard for me to say I’m sorry
I just want you to stay

After all that we’ve been through,
I will make it up to you
I promise to
And after all that’s been said and done
You’re just a part of me I can’t let go

Couldn’t stand to be kept away
Just for the day
From your body
Wouldn’t want to be swept away
Far away from the one that I love

Hold me now
It’s hard for me to say I’m sorry
I just want you to know

Hold me now
I really want to tell you I’m sorry
I could never let you go
After all that we’ve been through,
I will make it up to you
I promise to

And after all that’s been said and done
You’re just a part of me I can’t let go
After all that we’ve been through,
I will make it up to you,
I promise to

And after all that’s been said and done
You’re just a part of me I can’t let go

You’re gonna be the lucky one

Everybody needs a little time away
I heard her say

Summer Holiday by Cliff Richard

Summer Holiday – yay! My favourite season of the year, fun, sea, sand and sun! In the summertime, we usually have some fun – cycling, swimming, walking, having some grill, going to the park or beer garden, meeting some friends and eating ice-cream.

We’re all going on a summer holiday
No more working for a week or two
Fun and laughter on our summer holiday
No more worries for me or you
For a week or two

We’re going where the sun shines brightly
We’re going where the sea is blue
We’ve seen it in the movies
Now let’s see if it’s true

Everybody has a summer holiday
Doing things they always wanted to
So we’re going on a summer holiday
To make our dreams come true
For me and you

We’re going where the sun shines brightly
We’re going where the sea is blue
We’ve seen it in the movies
Now let’s see if it’s true

Everybody has a summer holiday
Doing things they always wanted to
So we’re going on a summer holiday
To make our dreams come true
For me and you

“Bittersweet Symphony”

Bittersweet

‘Cause it’s a bittersweet symphony, this life
Try to make ends meet
You’re a slave to money then you die
I’ll take you down the only road I’ve ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah,

No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I’m here in my mold
I am here in my mold
But I’m a million different people
from one day to the next
I can’t change my mold
No, no, no, no, no

Well I never pray
But tonight I’m on my knees yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there’s nobody singing to me now

No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I’m here in my mold
I am here in my mold
And I’m a million different people
from one day to the next
I can’t change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
I can’t change
I can’t change

Dito Ba? by Kuh Ledesma

Dito ba, dito ba, dito ba, o dito ba

Is it here? Is it here?
Where I should be
I borrowed a corner
Under the sun

Is this my world today?
How different from my world before
Is this what I was looking for
All the time
Is this my corner under the sun?

Is this where I belong?
In paradise without shelter
Is this where there is success?
Outside all smiles, inside there is sadness
Is this my corner under the sun?

Which with depth of tears
Brings peace with shallowness
Is this my corner under the sun?

Lofty Flies Pepe ‘s Kite

graphics-kites-225381Hello everyone! Hope you are all fine. I’m sharing you a song which was popular when I first left the country in the 80s. We used to sing this and somehow, made me realise my high ambition in life and also to have fun in life. Have a lovely week everyone!

Matayog ang lipad ng saranggola ni Pepe
Matayog ang pangarap ng matandang bingi
Umihip ang hangin, nawala sa paningin
Sigaw ng kahapon, nilamon na ng alon
Malabo ang tunog ng kampanilya ni Padre
Maingay ang taginting, rosaryo ng babae

Lofty flies Pepe ‘s kite
Ambitious old deaf
The wind blew , disappears
Cry of yesterday , swallowed by waves
The faint sound of the Father’s bell
Noisy resonance , woman’s rosary

Love the One You’re With

38321_1450856943671_6664275_n

Hello everyone! This was taken on our fourth year in high school. I was part of the singing group called “Apple Sauce” and we used to sing this song. We used to win some competitions within the school. We all used to wear some red, green or blue checkered shirts. That was fun. Memories of high school! Have a great week everyone!

If you’re down and confused
And you don’t remember who you’re talking to
Concentration slips away
Because your baby is so far away

Well there’s a rose in a fisted glove
And the eagle flies with the dove
And if you can’t be with the one you love, honey
Love the one you’re with
You gotta love the one you’re with
You gotta love the one you’re with
You gotta love the one you’re with

Don’t be angry, don’t be sad
Don’t sit crying over good times you’ve had
Well there’s a girl sitting right next to you
And she’s just waiting for something to do

Three Songs

Today, celebrate three songs that are significant to you. For your twist, write for fifteen minutes without stopping — and build a writing habit.

YesterdayMAIN

Yesterday, all my troubles seem so far away. Now it looks as though they’re here to stay. Oh I believe in yesterday. The past makes us and in recognising it and learning from it, we can move on to the present. The experiences we had are either good or bad – they are all worth having. I always think of them as stepping stones to reach where we want to be.

Last night when we were young. Love was the star, a song unsung. Life was so new, so real so right. Ages ago last night. When we were young, life seemed so magical, that we could always follow our dreams. The world was our oyster, we could be anywhere and everywhere and we could do anything.

latest

My days and nights are stark and hard with you. My sugar kisses taste like salt to you. But why should I find fault with you? That’s life, I guess. Lesson learned – not to depend on someone to achieve your dreams. You can do it on your own, just try your very best and prove to the world that you can do it.
