Ihip ng Amihan

IMGP7683

Sa ihip ng amihan
Ang prinsesa ay mag-isa
Sa ilalim ng puno

Isang lugar na kalmado
Ang dahon ng palma ay sumasayaw
Ang kamelyo huminto sa pag-inom

Ang barko sa malayo
Abot-tanaw ang yelo
Nakita ko isang bahaghari

Ang dilaw na binhi
Nag-aalok sa banal na lugar
Isang bulong na panalangin

july-21

One warm summer breeze
A princess sat on her own
Under a willow

Oasis of calm
As leaves of palm trees swaying
Camels stop to drink

Vista of cruise ship
With snow on the horizon
I see a rainbow

The yellow rapeseed
Offers them to the shrine
A whispered prayer

As the wind howls in its might
It’s like a sound of fury
Where are you so I can hide?

It is such a windy day
Flags are waving through and through
As the wind howls in its might

The wind makes it hard to walk
It makes it hard to fly, too
It’s like a sound of fury

Gusty winds send spirits soar
Up in the sky with the birds
Where are you so I can hide?

As the Wind Howls

door-template-instructions
(5) Words: | WIND | SPEAK | FREE | START | FIGHT |

As the wind howls on this grey day
Stray dogs wandering the empty streets
Sweets given free but still no takers
Acres of spaces starting to be vacant
Client, vacationers don’t come here anymore
Shore is not enough, fighting for survival
Dull and aged, they speak with no loyalty
Tea by the sea is still brilliant, whereas
As the wind howls on this grey day
