Ottobrunn Street Festival

Hello everyone! Lovely day here in Bavaria. We cycled to the next town to celebrate with them their Ottostraße street festival. It was nice to see the whole street celebrating. The mayor of the town opened the beer barrel to signal the opening of the festival, followed by music from the orchestra. There were stalls, balloons, food and drinks, grilled fish, sausages, bread, car boot sale, etc. Ottostraße is a very busy street with music schools, karate and kung-fu, car shops, community centre, etc and they all took part. There was a mini train ride and bouncy castles for the children. They closed the whole street and people just walked along. The local fire department gave some simulated shows, on emergency situations. Great Saturday!

  1. Must have been great to stumble in on a festival on your vacation! Seeing all these wonderful and cheerful views make me want to be there! Especially the simulations of the fire department must have been interesting (and maybe scary!) Many thanks for sharing this festival with SEASONS! Have a great week:)
