I wish I was

I wish I was brave enough to love you
I didn’t plunge in, now I will not know
You’ve hanged around and now my life is blue
You’ve asked and I wasn’t bold enough though
Somehow I didn’t really think it through
Never knowing what it brings tomorrow
And so life goes on and I wonder why
I watch the passers-by and I say bye*

Staring out the window

staring_out_window_440

Five Words: [ HARM – DEEP – ACT – STARE – LOSS ]

I miss you as I stare out the window
What we had was wonderful and now gone
The loss was deep, you’re no longer my beau
Acting as if nothing and all bygone
My soul’s sincerely harm hither and yon
One day I will be able to move on
Let me just mourn the loss as hereupon
I’ll look at it like the beauty of dawn
I’ll be alright and to the world I show
And that there was us a long time ago*

A Fairy Song
by William Shakespeare

Over hill, over dale,
Thorough bush, thorough brier,
Over park, over pale,
Thorough flood, thorough fire!
I do wander everywhere,
Swifter than the moon’s sphere;
And I serve the Fairy Queen,
To dew her orbs upon the green;
The cowslips tall her pensioners be;
In their gold coats spots you see;
Those be rubies, fairy favours;
In those freckles live their savours;
I must go seek some dewdrops here,
And hang a pearl in every cowslip’s ear.

I am here, you are there
Miles apart, half of the world
We have to cross the seas and lands
We have to endure the storms coming
You are there, so far away, unreachable
I say this, you say that, misunderstanding
Hard to communicate, different opinions
Upsetting one another even not intentionally
Causing pain in the heart and soul, shattering
Over the mountains, through seven seas
Enduring the pain, winter, spring, autumn
Summer comes, is there a flicker of hope?
Can we overcome the hurdles, the storm?
I don’t know, I really don’t know

Out of my reach

holding-hands1

Out of my reach
You’re so far away
And even when I’ve
Caught you
Not possible
I can’t have you
Out of my reach

Wish I could screech
Frustration of the day
I need my salve
When I couldn’t have you
When nothing could able
And I’m ever so blue
Wish I could screech

On another beach
Perhaps we’d have our day
When we could be halve
When we could go through
Time would let us able
That I could reach you
On another beach

Music Prompt #61 – Evanescence ‘My Immortal.’

Your name in glitters written with my microlith
Are you real or just a myth?
In my heart and soul, you’re always the one
My superstar, my full moon and bright sun

Perhaps exalting you for what you really are
When you’re gone, I’ve got the biggest scar
Even though nothingness comes out
And my life’s one big blackout

I don’t regret what we had, I mull
When the whole process is futile
Wherever I go, your silage lingers
My heart you definitely capture

Your breath I can still taste
I don’t want our memories be erased
Your brown eyes haunt me
Mesmerize with the taunt

Esurient of your affection
What we had, that was fun
Let me be among the brambles
A single bramble or in bundles

The roses, lavender and hyacinth
I’m sure one day I’m out of this labyrinth
But for now, here’s wishing you the best
Having known you, I know I’m blessed

a gift of friendship
not taking it for granted
nurture it with care

nurture it with care
exclusively mine and his
when it breaks it hurts

when it breaks it hurts
like it’s the end of world
perhaps in that world

end of beautiful friendship
if we could turn back the clock

I miss you

collage-28

The hour is ticking
The moon in a mist
Got to keep asking
Where’s the moonlight tryst?

Trim the stem
You’re not here
Am I condemned?
Feeling’s so queer

I miss you dearly
My head is spinning
I beg of thee
Please don’t fling

Can’t get over it
As I look at your prints
I’m turning half-wit
Give me a hint

I cringe from memories
I can’t lift my spirit
How can I be appeased?
When I run in circuit

Living without you
I’ve had my chips
My life is through
Can’t come to grips

“A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I’m afraid to fall?
But watching you stand alone,
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.

One step closer

[Chorus:]
I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything take away
What’s standing in front of me
Every breath
Every hour has come to this

One step closer

[Chorus:]
I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

One step closer
One step closer

[Chorus:]
I have died every day waiting for you
Darling don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more
