Blue skies, whispering clouds
Away from the crowds
Sea so welcoming
Its waves undulating
Children building sand castles
We can hear birds and sea gulls
Beachcombers enjoying themselves
Girls, boys and so as ourselves
Tide goes out then rises again
Like a regular and peaceful zen
Goes with the motion of the sun
Day like this we’re all having fun
Such a delight when the day’s bright
Lovely words

If I was an artist, I’d like to paint a picture like this! It has me longing for the sand and the surf. A peaceful, relaxed feeling finds a home in every line. Thanks so much for stopping by The Poetry Park and sharing this beautiful poem!

I’m not Buddhist but this speaks to me: “Tide goes out then rises again Like a regular and peaceful zen”
That picture is beautiful, I’d love to be there. Beautiful response to the prompt.

The picture is in one of our islands, El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. It’s one of my favourite places in the world! Have a nice and peaceful day, everyone! Cheers, Ladylee 🙂
